Equality, Diversity and Non-Discrimination Policy
FluxionSystem Group is committed to providing a workplace where everyone is treated equally, fairly and with respect, and where Discrimination is not tolerated.
1. Scope of application
This policy applies to all employees, candidates, interns and other workers at all stages of the working relationship (recruitment, onboarding, pay, promotion, training, day-to-day work, and termination). It also applies to selection of suppliers and contractors.
2. Definitions
“FluxionSystem Group” means:
- FluxionSystem Limited, Rush, Ireland;
- FluxionSystem UG (prev. G6 Holding UG), Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
“Discrimination” means treating a person worse than others in a comparable situation because of a particular characteristic they have (or are perceived to have). Such characteristics include, but are not limited to, sex, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, marital or family status, pregnancy and maternity, race, color, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief (or lack thereof), age, disability, physical or mental health or socio-economic background.
3. Principles
FluxionSystem does not tolerate Discrimination at any of its workplaces and during any professional engagement of its employees.
- Non-discrimination and equal opportunity. Employment decisions (hiring, role assignment, promotion, pay, training, redundancy) are based on skills, qualifications, performance and business needs, using objective and non-discriminatory criteria.
- Dignity and respect. Everyone must be treated with dignity and respect; bullying, harassment, sexual harassment or any degrading behavior is prohibited.
- Inclusion and diversity. FluxionSystem values diverse backgrounds and perspectives and strives for an inclusive culture where people can contribute fully regardless of identity.
4. Pay, benefits and working conditions
- FluxionSystem Group aims for equal pay for equal work and work of equal value, regardless of any protected characteristic.
- Pay and benefits decisions are based on role, market data, performance and experience, and are reviewed periodically to identify and address unjustified gaps (including gender and race-related pay gaps).
- Working time, flexible working, and leave arrangements (including parental, carer and disability-related adjustments) are applied fairly and consistently.
5. Disability, health and reasonable accommodations
- FluxionSystem Group will make reasonable accommodations for employees and candidates with disabilities or health conditions, to enable them to apply for roles, perform their job and access benefits on an equal basis.
- Accommodation requests will be handled promptly, confidentially and in consultation with the individual.
6. Gender identity, expression and facilities
- Employees may express their gender identity at work and will be addressed by their chosen name and pronouns.
- Where feasible, FluxionSystem Group will provide gender-neutral facilities or ensure that individuals can use facilities consistent with their gender identity without discrimination.
7. Zero tolerance for harassment and victimization
- Harassment, including sexual and race-based harassment, unwanted conduct related to any protected characteristic, or creating a hostile environment, is prohibited and may lead to disciplinary action up to dismissal.
- Victimization of anyone who raises a concern or participates in an investigation in good faith is strictly prohibited.
8. Speaking up and investigations
- Employees are encouraged to raise concerns early via their manager, HR or any designated reporting channel; concerns will be treated seriously, confidentially as far as possible, and investigated promptly and impartially.
- Outcomes may include support for affected individuals, mediation where appropriate, and disciplinary action where misconduct is found.
9. Roles and responsibilities
- Leadership and managers must lead by example, embed equality and diversity in decisions, address inappropriate behavior and support team members who raise concerns.
- HR / People function is responsible for training, monitoring relevant metrics (e.g. hiring, promotion, pay, representation) and recommending improvements.
- All staff are responsible for treating others with respect, avoiding discriminatory behavior, challenging unacceptable conduct and complying with this policy.
10. Training, monitoring and review
- FluxionSystem Group will provide periodic training on equality, diversity, inclusion and unconscious bias, particularly for managers and people involved in recruitment and performance decisions.
- Where legally required (e.g. gender pay gap or diversity reporting), FluxionSystem Group will collect and report data and implement action plans to address identified issues.
- This policy will be reviewed at least every two years, or earlier if there are significant legal or organizational changes.
11. Legal
References to a particular gender in this policy are intended to include all genders and gender identities. The use of a specific gender form is for convenience only and does not imply any intention to discriminate against any person.
FluxionSystem UG (haftungsbeschränkt): The contents of this document constitute a directive within the meaning of Section 106 of the Trade Regulation Act (Weisung nach § 106 GewO) issued by the employer to all employees of FluxionSystem UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
FluxionSystem Limited: The contents of this document constitute a lawful and reasonable order within the terms of the contract of service of all employees of FluxionSystem Limited.
